Well geez, I knew when I started this blog I would probably be inconsistent about it but not this bad already. Hi, if you already forgot about me, my name is Hope. It is currently 2:58PM on my last day of sprang break and I am eating a salad. Kewl.
Let’s talk about something that might be totally uncomfortable or totally life changing for a second. Jesus. I believe in Jesus. You hear it everyday, “I am saved! Jesus is alive! Church! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!” I am not throwing shade whatsoever, but sometimes those people are either in denial, faking it, or they really really mean it. People can be judgmental, most of the time they will just talk about that person behind their back. If you are real, go up to them next time you see it occurring and ask this: “What does it mean to be saved?” Honesty, it is a simple answer. It should not take them more than a second to answer you, point blank, I GOT THIS. The answer, however? I am saved, because Jesus died, and ROSE. All for our sins. I am alive in Jesus when I should be dead in sin. Is that not what we celebrated yesterday, April 5th? (Easter, it is not all about the egg hunts, Easter bunny, and chocolate) The Crucifixion of Jesus (Matt 27:32-52) was ordered by God (Acts 2) and it went down. On the third day, the stone was rolled away and Christ rose from the dead, according the Scripture (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
John 3:16, 17, 19, 20 (ESV) tells us: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes inn Him should not perish but have eternal life. (17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn (express complete disapproval of) the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.” (19) “…the light has come into the world, and people (still) loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.” (21) “Whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that His works have been carried out in God.” It is a simple explanation why we are gracefully and forever saved, GO OUT INTO THE WORLD AND SHARE IT!
If you got some questions about Jesus and how He can change your life for the absolute better, here is my advice: Pray. Nobody on this world knows what is going to happen when we perish one day. The only One: JESUS. Give it a try, and watch your struggles, sadness, self confidence, problems, thoughts, drama, etc. better themselves. Love y’all, stay turnt!
